×Hello.
I am using Confluence cloud. And I mentioned that the bug with exporting Russian characters in block code macro applies not only Russian language. This is also for languages with non Latin characters. I think Low priority for this task is not so good, and issues has to be fixed. What is the chance that issue will be fixed in nearest time?
Hi Alexander,
Had you considered using Scroll PDF Exporter whilst this issue is being dealt with?
Our app will allow you to export the non-latin characters (such as Russian) contained within the code block macro to your required PDF format.
You can then also apply styling to the rest of your document, so that the exported PDF has the look and feel you desire.
If you are interested, you can learn more about our app here and can also start a free trial.
I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any further questions.
Thanks, Thomas (K15t Software)
Hi Thomas thank you for your advice for yours developed macro, yes it would be OK for me as a technical writer, but unfortunately I ca not use it because 2018 year budget for Confluence Cloud license and plugins already applied my company managers and it is not possible to buy the plugin for 200+ users right now, maybe I will back for this question about Scroll PDF at the end of the year.
Thanks, Alex.

Hi Alexander,
I've updated the bug to include that it affects non-latin characters.
The bug will be prioritized by the team according to our Bug Fixing Policy so please be sure to vote and comment on it, as I've seen you have done.
Any updates of status will be placed there as well so you will see the updates as long as long as you are watching the case. Also, all of your comments go directly to the development team so these will also help them to prioritize the issue.
Thank you for your understanding!
Regards,

Thank your very much Shannon, I believe that this bug will be fixed. Confluence Cloud Non Latin character users will be very glad for that.
