Compatibility between 5.5.3 and 5.7.1

Christopher An December 17, 2015

I'm trying to import a space from Confluence Server 5.7.1. to Confluence Server 5.5.3..  The 5.7.1. schema doesn't seem to have an attachments table whereas the 5.5.3. does.  Are there any known issues with this?

Hi Christopher,

In addition to William's answer, here's the documentation to upgrade Confluence in case you'll go ahead and upgrade it to import the space: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/upgrading-confluence-4578.html

I hope it helps! smile

Hi Christopher,

Actually you won't be able to import a space from Confluence 5.5.3 to 5.7.1 because the major version are different. You need to upgrade your Confluence 5.5.3 to 5.7.1 to then be able to import the space successfully.

Cheers,
WZ
