Confluence Issues - Unable to Save Pages and No Side Bar and Search Broken

I have been having issues with my site for a while now and got some time to try to fix it. Things haven't gone well and unfortunately I can't document/remember exactly everything I did and in what order...

Here are some facts:

* I upgraded to the latest Confluence

* My main page has a macro to show all pages/children etc and that works

* My side bar does not show anything, but is there. I even tested giving it a header and that didn't show up

* Nothing shows up "Spaces" when I click on it at the top of the page, but it does show when I'm in "General Configuration" --> Space Permissions etc

* When I click the search bar it says "Something went wrong" Refresh the page or contact admin"

I fixed all the errors under "Troubleshooting/Instance Health Checks" but am still getting one error under "Log Analyzer".

MySQL Java Driver 8.0.11 does not work with Confluence  

I did have this Java driver and may have had it during upgrade. I have since deleted it and injected the 5x driver, but I still get the error. I somehow feel this is related the ticket gives no resolution steps other then to put the correct driver, but I feel like I may be missing some AO tables?

Any help is much appreciated!

I was able to resolve this by re-running the setup and choosing "upgrade" even though it was the same version of Confluence. I had the correct jdbc driver and that fixed it!
