Hi, I'm facing problems with Confluence Office Plug-ins (Excel, Powerpoint). I'm using FF 20.0.1 as Browser and have also installed WebDav Launcher 1.0.6. Problem is that attached Excel and/or Powerpoint file to with Confluence page is not opened although corresponding Microsoft program starts.
Are parameter settings on Admin level necessary to enable this specific macro? Appreciate your comments. Thanks and best regards Hartmut Stein
Hello Luiz,
thanks a lot for your prompt answer. Will check your proposed IE9 solution but have to involve in this case our external IT service provider as personal access rights don't allow to add trusted sites in IE9.
Actually I'm using FF 20.0.1 as my favorite browser to work with Confluence. Corresponding WebDav Launcher 1.0.6 is also installed to permit MS Office file access.
When trying to open file attachment of a specifc Confluence page I'm getting following message box which I confirm with OK.
Result: Excel is opened but not corresponding file attachment.
Would very much appreciate your comments.
Thanks and best regards
Hartmut Stein

Hello Hartmut,
May I ask you if you're using Office 2010 and these Excel/Powerpoint files are being opened "blank"? If so, you can be experiencing this known problem:

Hope this helps, if this is not your problem feel free to comment.
