Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×We have a few users who would like to play around with it but it doesn't seem to work. Here's what I'm doing:
I then get this message in the "Insert 'Poll' Macro" popup:
Error rendering macro 'poll-macro' : java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "hidden field value"
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have this plugin working?
We're on Confluence 5.1.2, and the plugin is v1.3 (both latest)
You can kinda work around it if you want to use the macro anyway:
I've replicated this behaviour here as well. I'll continue to investigate this, and file a bug if needed.

I'm experiencing the exact same behavior. It occasionally loads, but adding any Vote Options get lost on refresh and attempts to edit the macro just revert it back to the error.

I followed the workaround and it worked. But when I refresh the page, the Voteoptions I've added disappear — the page reverts to its "saved" state with only poll title visible.

When saving the page with the inserted Polls macro, I get this error on the rendered page:
Error rendering macro 'poll-macro' : java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "hidden field value"
There is no option to add Voteoptions...

It seems like this is not something that's ready for prime-time ... our users aren't willing to work with the workaround, so we're putting this on hold.
Sadly, this means my plans for Atlassian product domination cannot yet be complete. :)
