Confluence Recognition Component

Does Confluence have the ability to create a recognition program? Something that allows us to give a 'kudos' to an employee or something along the lines of recognizing ones achievements.

I'd suggest to use JIRA for this purpose instead. You can create a project called for example Employee Recognition Program and then allow user to create an issue as Kudos. You can add field such as nominee, reason for kudos and the gift you would like to give, etc
