Has anyone run into this issue and might have a solution to this.
My challenge is, we have a confluence server instance with more than 700 users and a confluence cloud instance with 300 licenses.
I want to migrate one space from server to cloud. I changed permissions to restrict access to two users.
When I run the migration assistant for this single space it fails due to my cloud instance not having enough licenses. I also selected the option to migrate only the users associated to the selected space but it seems the migration assistant wants to move the entire confluence directory.
Hi @[deleted]
For the following you would need to do these things:
With the above, you should be able to migrate the space successfully.

@Ismael Jimoh thanks for the suggestion. It worked! The trick was in revoking the product access in the cloud.

Hello,
Daphne from Atlassian here 👋🏼
We’re doing research on how customers are using our Migration documentation, and we’re interested in speaking with customers who are migrating (or have recently migrated) less than 1000 users and who are not using (or did not use) the services of a Solution Partner.
What’s involved in the research:
We’ll schedule a 1-hour session at a time that’s convenient for you. The session will be conducted over video-conference, so you can participate from anywhere.
During the research, we'll start with a general chat to get to know you, and then we’d like to hear about where you are in your migration journey, and what documentation you’ve been referring to.
As a token of our appreciation, you'll receive an e-gift card worth $100 within 5 days of completing your session.
If you're interested in taking part, please contact me on dzhang3@atlassian.com to schedule a time that works for you. If you have any other questions at all, feel free to reply to this message or email me directly. We look forward to meeting you!
Cheers,
Daphne Zhang
