Is it possible to add an inline comment and not notify watchers?
While reviewing a page multiple inline comments can be added, but sending an email to watchers for every comment might not be desirable.
Does it make sense to expect an checkbox "Notify watchers", similar to what is available when editing a Confluence page?
edit May 19, 2015 :
Related, but today I could not find an answer to my question in the aricle "Confluence 101: discuss work with your team" by @James Austin
at https://www.atlassian.com/collaboration/confluence-discuss-work-with-your-team
Although it mentions (for pages):
"Pro tip
Uncheck the "notify watchers" box at the bottom of the screen before clicking "save" for minor changes that don't warrant your teammates' immediate attention. They'll appreciate your thoughtfulness."
Ãnd how about this feature? https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-40582 Please vote!
Thank you for your feedback @Vera Henrichs .
But my question is about inline comments, as such it does not seem related to the feature you refer to : https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-40582
