Hello everyone,
We will soon be implementing JIRA and Confluence, and would like to provide guidelines of recommended / best practices for Confluence to new users. While there is a fair amount of information regarding what to do in Confluence (creating spaces, assigning permission, etc.), we are having a hard time finding any sort of documentation on Confluence best practices. Has anyone put this sort of information together? How does your company best utilize Confluence?
Any recommendations / suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!
There are user guides and admin guides but it will be hard to find best practices because there is not one that fits all.
It mostly depends on your organization's process and so your best practices may differ from what others have gained from. Of course, there might be common elements, like disabling users instead of deleting them, but I haven't seen a big list that suits all.
Might be worth working with an expert to implement what is best for your team.

Hi Schuyler, we adopted Confluence months a go, and it was really awesome to create a entire knowledge repository for our area the company, a collaborative wiki for our activities... We develop software for our own company and clients and partners and we beging using Confluence from the highlevel requeriments with steakeholders to the user manual...
