I would like to create a table for ongoing projects.  Once created, I would like to sort the table on the status of each line item which uses the status macro.  Is this possible?

Although this post is quite old, we would like to let you know that we developed the app "DataTables for Confluence" (see https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220302/datatables-for-confluence) for Confluence Cloud which adds additional features (such as filtering / full-text search and pagination) to native Confluence tables.

Hello Steven,

There a lot of different ways you can create such table, it depends on your needs and resources:

  1. Use a common table that you can create in the page editor, put Status macro or Handy Status macro in each row.
  2. Use Page Properties in combination with Page Properties Report. You can use same statuses macros here.
  3. Use Scaffolding add-on to create the table.
  4. Use Jira and Jira Issues macro.

You can filter any table with Table Filter macro.
