Creating a Confluence Space

I have found instructions to create a Space however I do not have the ability to create one. Do I need special permissions to do so? (https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf613/create-a-space-964960228.html)

Hi @Rebecca Quirke ,

yes, you need create space permissions.
ask your admin to get a space or the permissions to create a global or personal space.

maybe you already have rights to create a private Space, you can do that under your profile (menu on the top right)
