Creating multiple jira issues from Confluence 5.4 - columns?

Mark Haller

Hi there

The documentation on this new Confluence 5.4 is really light - is it possible to use the columns in a table to create the JIRA issues? So first column is Summary, second is Description, third is Time Esimate, etc?

If not, PLEASE ADD THIS! :-)

There is an existing issue for this desired functionality - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-31867

bump....

is this something that is in the pipeline??

great to add straight to jira now, but to include at least description, priority and user assigned would be amazing

Agree. While the ability to create issues in bulk directly from Confluence is a huge time saver, I still spend hours copying issues descriptions from Confluence to JIRA. Alternatly, we have tried leaving the User Story details in Confluence and not in JIRA, but then the devs and testers spend a lot of time hunting for things in Confluence. Adding basic support for at least mapping the Description column in Confluence in JIRA would be a huge help.
