Hey,
I'm using a the JIRA macro to display JIRA issues in Confluence. There sometimes the names of custom fields are missing but the values are there.
Sometimes after some searches in JIRA it gets fixed miraculously but I haven't found the specific steps yet.
Does anyone have an idea what the root cause could be?

Martin

Hi @Anna Tran
just got note of this ticket. Looks like a known issue on Atlassian side which will be getting a fix soon. 🤞

Hi @captain1701 ,
please could you try with different browsers? It could be related to a client side issue. Try to clean browser cache and try again.
Please let me know if it solves your issue.

unfortunately changing browser doesn't have impacts on the result. Also different PCs/users don't make a difference.
Now, that I have tried it again in another browser (Vivaldi instead of Opera) the results are as expected, and after a reload in Opera, it shows the expected result there too - without touching/cleating the cache!
But, my experience so far and one information I have missed in the initial statement: Once it is fixed it works for that day only, the next day the issue is back.
I hope this helps.

Martin

seriously? :-) Vivaldi as well as Opera are Chromium-based nowadays, but anyway I will try again tomorrow with Firefox. For today the issue is fixed as I wrote above. ;-)

I have tried now to reproduce the issue with Firefox and Edge (Chromium). The result it is the same picture like the above there.
So in summary there are four different browsers showing the same result table (see above). A search in JIRA directly gives the correct results. Once the "exchange" between JIRA and Confluence recovers it gets fixed for all users of Confluence no matter which browser they use.
Any further ideas what I could try?

Martin
