At my company we are tracking a testing effort. Someone created a Confluence page. That page has several tabs for functional areas. Each of those functional areas have tabs for different departments.

To start with, one must navigate through two to three tab levels to get to where they are. Then there is a tabular area that has descriptive use-cases in the first column, and corresponding test logs and responses are to be recorded in corresponding columns next to them.

It is awkward enough to navigate to the next spot in regular reading mode. But once you have found it, going into edit mode now starts you over from the beginning of the page with everything wide expanded.

Is there no better way to do this? Or once you are editing it being able to stay in one location or get back to it.

Hi @Absinthe , welcome to the Community!

If I have understood correctly, the problem is that the page structure is so complex that it is difficult to find text passages (or other content) in edit mode.
If I'm right, you could consider maintaining the content on separate pages and then mirroring it on the actual page using either Include Page or Include Excerpt macros.
However, I don't know how the "tabs" are created on the page in question. If these tabs are created by a 3rd party app, there could be technical limitations that I can't know about.

Hope that helps!

Regards,

Nicolai
