Hi, We own a site that uses Confluence server. We are performing complete Data Refresh of QA DB using PROD DB Data. We are trying to make our QA Site a Replica of the PROD site. So we copied all the PROD DB data into QA DB and working on exporting the PROD attachments and importing them into QA. Are there are other steps that needs to be performed to ensure that the QA site is up and running without any issues.
Hi!
If your QA Site already was up running before (ie. pointing to the correct DB for QA!!!) you should be good to go restoring the DB dump and copying some directories. (Basically for just playing around during tests I only use the restore and attachments to copy over - but if you want it more complete I would also copy the dirs below, as is suggested also when going from server to multi-node datacenter
After startup of course the system will complain about having the wrong base url - which you then can correct using standard procedure in the admin section using your browser.
