×I've been looking for a way to do document numbering for Confluence, especially for knowledge base and technical document.
Use case for knowledge base would be like Microsoft and VMware ones, which each KB article are numbered with KB-xxxx, e.g. KB-2368-title.
For technical document, the numbering will be more complex, including years and months released, division name, sub division, number of document... Example: NW-2011-03-IPM-3-title.
Any workaround to do this on Confluence automatically, with plugin or script? Probably list the number as a page title, fields, or a "tag".
Or is there a more apropriate tools in the market?
Hi Rudy,
I found an existing thread for similar case like yours. Please check this out (link)
I hope that's the one you're looking for.
Cheers,
Samuel
