I'm looking for an easy way of letting Confluence users to create sort of communities. Imagine that a corporate social network is built on Confluence. The idea is that a regular user (not an admin) should be able to create a place with a pre-defined structure where other users can share their thought on a particular topic (like Yammer).
Does anybody know if there are any add-ons available to make it true?
Hey Victor,
Adaptavist's Community Forums could be something you're looking for.
As this is quite a broad topic which can have varying complexity, it's probably hard to answer here without doing a proper requirements analysis.
Have you considered getting an Expert on board to assist you with your mission?
Regards,
Philipp
Hi Philipp, The Adaptavist's add-on is not what we need. We already have a forum, but now the requirement is to give more social features to the users. As I already mentioned, Yammer is what we'd like to simulate, sort of. Victor
