We want to save a lot of our project documents within Confluence so that we don't have to email them back and forth anymore. If we were to save a project plan document from Microsoft project would people be able to make changes on it on the same time? We are trying to avoid people doing work to it at the same time, saving their version, and neither having all the right information.
You are able to make changes to documents attached directly, but as far as I know not possible to prevent editing in that attached document simultaniously without knowing it.
In general you like to use the confluence page to document where you would be able to simultaniously work together which works for general type of documents like a project plan. If it's a more specific one like MS Project planning it doesn't really work af course.
