Nifti thing, but i'm unsure if its come from our customization or its a generall bug.
If i go Insert -> Emoticons then the selection of some emoticons shows up, but i'm unable to insert, nothing happens if i like the
Just typing like by letters works.
Hi @Michael Sleep, check your System Addons if:
is probably disabled. I also had re reenable this, even we not use HipChat to have the Emoticons in gnereall.

As Oliver mentioned above, "Confluence Hipchat Emoticons Plugin is probably disabled." It seems that this has to be enabled even if you don't plan on using HipChat and only want the emoticons to work as expected. I ran into the same problem.
