Hello,
We use both Confluence and SharePoint.
We want to move a few select spaces to SharePoint - any ideas how do do this.
I know we can export Confluence spaces to pdf, html and xml. But I do not know if anyone has imported them into SharePoint with any success.
I also wondering about the reverse.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
V
@Victor Prasad You could also use some of the Atlassian Marketplace Apps to integrate the two. Specifically the SharePoint Connector for Confluence (Server/Data Center/Cloud, SharePoint Online/2019/2016) let's you embed content in both directions. So you don't need to worry, what happens when the exported content gets updated or so.
Disclaimer: I' working at Communardo, the company behind the mentioned SharePoint Connector for Confluence.
Hello David!
I am glad you work for a company that does this work! No problem at all.
Can I demo this product?
Ultimately, we want to use SharePoint as our workhorse. Ended projects etc should go to SP, but relevant quick situations can use Confluence.
Thanks for your input!

If you know how to export content from confluence, just try whether sharepoint can do something with it.

Hi Victor,
I cannot speak to the import capability of SharePoint, but can speak to getting content out of Confluence. In the space administration > Content section you will find the ability to export the whole space to several formats. Pick the one that Sharepoint accepts and Bob's your uncle. You may also want to change the space permissions to prevent editing before you export. Cheers!
