We house our policies and procedures in Confluence. I am under a time crunch to download specific policies as pdfs (about 130 of them). During the export to pdf, random pages will have the body of the page stripped out. I've searched the source code, the html, the styling, the pdf...there is no pattern and no obvious cause. It happens when I export one page and when I export 50 pages. Any ideas as to what the cause would be?

Thanks!

Hi Amy,

Sorry to hear that you are facing an issue when it comes to export. This can be caused by multiple reasons. As I am not able to view your environment, However, lets try to narrow down the root cause and we may know what can be the issue.

  1. Enable safe mode
  2.  Include the argument
    • Include the argument "-Dpdf.render.memory.guard.disabled=true" into your setenv.
      1. Shut down Confluence
      2. Go to <Confluence-Install>/bin/setenv.sh(linux) or setenv.nat(window)
      3. Include the argumenet -Dpdf.render.memory.guard.disabled=true
      4. Save the file
      5. Start Confluence.
  3.  Do let us know what are the field that you can see is missing from the PDF. Let us know if is a data in a macro data is missing. Or just pure text is missing.

Do let us know, with the above information. I believe that we can get closes to the root cause :)
