Hello Ankur,
I did the steps on my confluence and it works smoothly. Well, the error message is saying that it is a DNS problem, so, could you verify it your DNS is configured properly on confluence server ? If you are running confluence on Linux, you could edit the file /etc/resolv.conf and insert the parameter as below:
nameserver IP_your_INTERNAL_DNS_SERVER
After it, restart the network service and try to add the macro again.
If you are running your confluence on windows server, just edit the network interface on windows and make sure that your first DNS address is your internal DNS Server.
If that doesn't work, please verify your DNS Configuration on your DNS Server to check if the server is accepting DNS requests from the IP Address from your confluence.
Hope it helps,
Renato Rudnicki
