How do I move a blog post to another space?

Rather than deleting a blog post we would like to move it to an "archive space". Is this possible?

All blog posts older than 1 year should be moved to this space, so users can still see the content.

Hi Marcel, it's currently not possible to move blog posts to other spaces, I'm afraid. If you'd like to have that feature implemented, make sure to leave your thoughts/vote for this improvement request: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-2455

When I choose 'Move' on more recent blog posts, the page reloads and rerenders and no menu shows up.  Seems a clear bug.  100% reproducible.

Reading the  the documentation on this page about moving a blog

Documentation states that

• You cannot change the date of an existing blog post. You can only backdate when adding a blog post.
• You cannot move a blog post to another space.(my emphasis)
• A blog post has no parent."

It then goes to advise how to move a blog post in the following paragraph:

"Moving a blog post

If you create a blog post in the incorrect space, or want to reorganise your spaces, you can move an individual blog post to another space. 

To move a blog post go to the post and choose Tools > Move and select the new destination space.

You will need the 'Delete blog' permission in the current space and 'Add blog' permission in the new (destination) space to do this. "

Hi Boris! I found this in the docs (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/doc/Blog+Posts): "To move a blog post, go to the post and choose * * * > Move and select the new destination space. You'll need the 'Delete blog' permission in the current space, and 'Add blog' permission in the new (destination) space to do this." (* * * is the three dots in the top right hand corner that gives you a dropdown menu) It sounds like you might not have permission to delete the blog from the current space, so I'd start by checking that. If you're still stuck you can always raise a Support Request at https://support.atlassian.com, and we can help you out :)

 I still do not see a way to move blog posts. We are restructuring some of our intranet and I need to be able to move blogs from one space to another. The Information still states:

Move a blog post

There is no "more" under the ...

There is also no "Tools" to move the blog post. 

Timely Help would be greatly appreciated.
