We have alot of templates and used the Promote to make the ones used most often appear in the list of selections when using the Create (vs clicking on More). But, once we used the Promote option, then the Blank page option automatically is under the More option. How do we promote that one? It seems like that one should always be available vs hidden - or, at least give the admin the option for their space.
If there isn't a way to do this, we have to undo all the promotes. But, we really wanted to use it; however, given now all of the available blueprints, it's becoming cluttered and users aren't quickly locating the ones used most often.
Any ideas?
Can't you create an empty template instead using the default option for an empty page?
Yes, you can, which is what I did for now, hoping there was a better solution. Then our users ask why there are two because Confluence's blank one is the first one to appear when you click More to view all.

if you don't want to programm something, that's the way I would do it. If it's confusing your users, maybe rename the template from blank to simple page template e.g....
