I don't know whether this is possible or not but I have an html file that is stored on the Confluence home directory, see location above and would want to access it via the url.
For example I would like to enter something like https://confluence.abc.com/script/xyz.html
Let me know if this is possible or if there is another way of doing this. Please note that this html file will not display via the iframe and html macros.
This is not possible. A workaround is to store this html file in the Installation Directory of Confluence instead. For example, if you store test.html inside <confluence-install>/confluence/html folder, then you need to access this file by: http://<confluence-url>/html/test.html
