Hello,
Is there a way to get / generate JSESSIONID from Confluence REST APIs?
Currently, for all REST API requests we always pass both username and password

Is there a way to generate JSESSIONID once, then pass this token on succeeding calls just like in JIRA?

There are some details around doing this at https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Crowd-questions/Confluence-REST-API-Is-there-anyway-to-authenticate-by/qaq-p/688156 and https://www.smartics.eu/confluence/display/PDAC1/REST+Login+to+Confluence+with+cURL#RESTLogintoConfluencewithcURL-RESTCallusingaSessionCookie-head
