How to link an attachment through python or atlassian python api?

I have a requirement to capture the system configuration details ( in files ) of the linux box and dump the same in to the confluence wiki. i'm using atlassian python api, but i'm unable to find any api to link an attachement to the wiki. Can someone help me.
