We recently installed TeamCalendars for Confluence. The plugin places a gadget on the system dashboard in the upper left corner showing upcoming events related to the currently logged in user.
Placing that gadget there reduces the usability for our users immensly. The most important gadget on the dashboard for us is the space list. That's the first thing users do, clicking on their space to get there. Now that calendar gadget moves that space list way to the bottom, depending on how many events are in your calendars. Everybody has to scroll down now to find the links to their spaces.
How can I move or disable the team calendar gadget from the Confluence dashboard?
Hi George, You can achieve this by putting this css from Confluence Admin >> Stylesheet >> Edit.
.dashboard-calendar { display:none; } |
Hope it helps. Cheers!
Worked like a breeze! Thanks.

Anyway to simply swap the calendar with the spaces/pages/network area?

Hi Jeff, You might get more response if you make this a stand-alone question instead of an answer to someone elses question. Making it a stand-alone question will make it visible in searches for calendar questions.
