How to search the data source for Confluence Charts

Dear Experts,

I am trying to build reports using (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/chart-macro-163415075.html) for page views, reviews, modifications. Please advise how can I find data source for confluence chart reports?

Any help will be really appreciated.

Hi Muhammad, 

The Chart Macro in Confluence allows you to build charts based on a table placed in the Macro however it does not have a way to display analytics data unless you have collected with another tool; the Chart Macro would be similar to building charts in Excel or Google Sheets. 

If you need Analytics information about Confluence to put into this Macro, there are a few analytics collecting tools available, however I do not know if they'll provide the data in a format that would be useable in this particular macro. 

Confluence has a built in Usage Statistics plugin that a System Administrator can enable but it does not provide data in a way that could be used in the Chart Macro.  Please note, the Usage Statistics Plugin is disabled by default as it is known to cause performance problems in some instances. 

Alternative to the Usage Statistics Plugin, there are a few different 3rd Party options available on the Atlassian Marketplace that also have their own reporting.
