I cannot enter the character "." in Confluence 5.3

After creating a page or editing a page, I cannot enter the character "." using the keyboard.

The only way of entering this character is copy & paste.  

We currently use Confluence 5.3

Does anybody know the reason for this "behaviour"?

Hey there,

Are you using IE 11? I found this bug report that can be related to your issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-31609.

 

If yes, you'll have to use another browser or update Confluence to 5.4.1.
