If I copy and paste a Word document in it doesn't carry through headings and numberings.
I can't see the top right link to 'import word document' as a whole.
How do I get the document into confluence with all headings and formatting etc?
Thanks
Jane
Hi,
After upgrading Confluence to version 6.14.2 we have the same problem. Import a Word Document into Confluence does not work, there was not option to choose it.
As Jan-Peter suggested, Office Connector Plugin was disabled. After we enabling the plugin, importing works as it should.
Thank you Jan-Peter.

Hi Jane,
sorry, I just found out that the import was not available anymore in our Confluence environment.
One reason could be, that due to a security advice your admins switched of some Confluence functions which relate to the Word import. You should ask them about this issue & mention that the "Office Connector Plugin" is propably disabled. They can either fix it or give you some advice.
Enabling that plugin made the "Import Word Document" option available again.

Hi,
are you using Confluence server or cloud?

I'm not sure - presume server - is there a way of telling?

While in view mode of any page, click on the three dots menu at the top right of the page & select "Import Word Document"
If you don't see this option, you might not be allowed to create a page in the space you're viewing.
