Is there an comparable add-on to "No Email Storm" for use with Confluence Cloud?

No Email Storm was a great add-on for Confluence Server.  This add-on could be set at the instance level and when updating a page, it added another button and the default was to save only.  The default is to save and automatically notify watchers unless manually deselected.

The same problem exists with Confluence Cloud, but I haven't found an add-on to fix the inconvenience of the defaulted setting which publishes and automatically notifies unless going into the More Actions menu and selecting Publish without notifying watchers.

Hello Michelle,

I'm Elena, a product manager for the No Email Storm Macro. Thank you for using our app for Confluence Server.

We're aware of our users' need for No Email Storm for Cloud. However, at the moment Cloud limitations make it not possible to develop the corresponding app for Cloud hosting. We keep an eye out for any changes for Cloud developers and hope to deliver this product in the future.

Best regards,

Elena Ovdienko.

When the app becomes available, sign me up!  It makes a huge difference, allowing the EDITOR to decide if watchers should be notified of the changes vs. the current debacle.

Is it still unavailable in cloud?

Hello @robby

We appreciate your interest in Stiltsoft apps.

Unfortunately, No Email Storm is only available to Data Center and Server hosting types of Confluence. The Cloud version is not in our short-term backlog.

Kind Regards,

Anastasia

Thanks for the note, but that still doesn't allow the same functionality as the server add-on, where the EDITOR has the power to decide whether or not the update is worth of notifying the watchers.
