Is there anyway to create a jira issue from a confluence team calendar?

This would be really awesome if it can be done. I can't find a way to do it though.

Hi Alicia,

Let me share a note from this doc: https://confluence.atlassian.com/teamcal/add-jira-events-241566244.html

Notes

  • You can't add content to JIRA calendars as they source all of their date information from the JIRA system. To add issues and version deadlines, add them in the JIRA application's interface.

Not within the calendar itself.  But if you are displaying the calendar on a page within confluence, you can always add a link to JIRA for a specific project/issuetype. If you use the project/issue type that is being pulled into the calendar, it does the trick.

http://corporatejira.com/jira/secure/CreateIssue.jspa?pid=13401&issuetype=11600

You can leave it as a simple link, or jazz it up with a nav button or image.

I don't think that's possible.
