Hi
We're currently evaluating the possibility to migrate from OnDemand to Hosted versions of JIRA and Confluence (the lack of plugins is a big pain)
I've done some initial evaluation on how it works. I have created both Confluence and JIRA backups, installed hosted versions and used those backups for restore.
This worked good, both JIRA and Confluence match the OnDemand content with one exception.
Application links (Confluence Spaces linked to JIRA issues or JIRA issues included in Confluence spaces) still point to the OnDemand site.
Is there a way to migrate whole OnDemand JIRA+Confluence site to hosted environment preserving the links?
Yes, the base URLs are configured correctly. I have noticed however that the Application Link points to the OnDemand JIRA instance but when I try to add the hosted JIRA as well it throws an error about the same Server ID. Your colleagues at support are currently helping me to deal with this.

Hmm, this is an interesting approach. I will give it a try

Hi Jakub,
Have you updated your base URL? You can check out the Configuring JIRA Options page for details on changing that. If this isn't the case, and it's just the Application Links, these may have to be updated via the instructions at Integrating JIRA and Confluence. Let us know if you run into any trouble!
Thanks,
