Lastmodified syntax problem

I tried to make a CQL query using the lastmodified operator, but it doesn't seem to recognize the syntax. The doc says:

But if I try a very simple query, here is what I get:

FYI, the query works with any other operator than LESS THAN (<)

And, the query works as is when I put it directly in the URL and also when I insert it in the CQL Macro.

So it obviously is a bug in the validation script of the Script Runner Enhanced Search page.
