We have mistakenly installed confluence on one of our low end VPS , we are now thinking to install it on more powerful machine confluence ask for server id before you even get the license i am not sure how i will do this because no option there on license window also please let us know if the same license will work on new vps as we will decommissioned our current small VPS where confluence crashing continuously because of less resources.

Hello ,

In case you have production license which are procured from atlassian , so within same organization you can use same license  for different confluence instance without any issues or you can move license from one confluence to another.

Since production licenses are associated with SEN. In case you do not have production license your using temporary 30 day's license then you just need to make sure you regenerate this license as temp license are associated with Server ID.
