We are currently struggeling with the error https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-32164 in our Confluence Version 5.8.14.
There came up the question if there is a feature that one could configure the 'lifetime' of a Draft. Searching the DB we found Drafts older then 2000 days!
Is there an option to limit that to 7 days or something?
We are on the way to version 6 and hope that the problem is gone there!
Hey Harald,
Unfortunately there is no scheduled job, routine or task at the moment in Confluence to clear up this undesired backlog of drafts that consume a bunch of database space. :(
There is a suggestion opened CONFSERVER-30409 to take care of this. While it is not implemented, you can follow this workaround to clear up your database.
Hope it helps, have a great week ahead!
