The "Recently Updated" section on each parent page only includes items with a specific label because it's the only way I can figure to limit it rather than include everything in the entire space.
Is there a way to set the section to include all child items that are updated instead of relying on a label? OR is there a way to automatically include a specific label for every child page when it is created?
Example:
Team A - The Recently Updated list should be limited to all child pages
Team A's policies
Team A's procedures
Team B - The Recently Updated list should be limited to all child pages
Team B's policies
Team B's procedures
FYI: It seems to be possible in confluence 5.8.1

i found a good solution using
you can order by 'modified' field, and then reverse order.
I also limit the number of results to make it lighter.

Unfortunately the modification date and time is not shown in the list of Children Display.

We (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/1211719) are currently working on a Plugin that would enable you to get a list or recent changes in a tree of pages (<100-200 Pages limited by performance). If you want i can report back if we are done. If that's an urgent issue, tell me, i'll see how fast we can do it ;)

lovely! thank you. Yes, please keep me posted. It isn't urgent right now because I'm tagging every page but in the near future as people start putting documentation into Confluence themselves I see it becoming an issue. thank you.

Any update on this? I'm looking for a Recently Updated macro that takes into account labels and page tree structure similar to the "Page Properties Report macro powered by CQL" example on https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-5-8-1-beta2-release-notes-722143860.html

Hi, as far as i know, there is no "perfect" solution to this. There is an issue here:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-9005
There are also some workarounds in the comments.
