Metadata Report Macro does not Display Version

According to the documentation here (https://comalatech.jira.com/wiki/display/META/Confluence+Metadata+Plugin#ConfluenceMetadataPlugin-Additionalinternalmetadata), the Metadata plugin should be able to pull in the current version number of a page within a space. However, when I try this in 5.1.2 using the plugin, the Version column is always blank. Is this an error with the plugin?

Does anyone know of another way to return the version of all pages within a single space (or, even better, across every space)?

I forget why I even asked this question. I don't recall that I ever got it working.
