Hi,
we are running Confluence 4.3.2 and want to upgrade to the latest version (5.4.4 currently). We have a lot of pages that use the metadata and metadata-report macros. I am aware that the new Confluence now uses 'page properties'. Is there way to migrate the old metadata macros? We tried the upgrade but now we see this instead of the actual report:
Unknown macro: {metadata-report}
Do we need to take an additional step to get this migrated?
regards,
Wim
Seems our admin forgot to install the metadata plugin in the latest version. Seems both metadata plugin and page properties can exist next to each other.
Thanks for the tip, but it was not that, see my answer.

Hi Wim,
Do you have the stacktrace that mentioned in this KB in your <confluence-home>\logs\atlassian-confluence.log ? If yes- Check for incompatible plugins in your instance.
Cheers,
Saleh
