Hi,
I would like to creat an org chart with draw.io and to bed in the profile macro. So far it has not been successful. Does anybody know, if this is even possible?

@Torben Lembke Welcome to the Atlassian community
Draw.IO is an external program that you embed into a Confluence page. There is no way to embed Confluence macros within a draw.io chart that you have created.
…but is it somehow possible to create an org chart with standard confluence tools using the profile macro (connecting lines between the profiles)?

@Torben Lembke there is no way to do it with delivered tools. I believe this app can help with org charts but most likely not the way you are trying to set it up but is only available on server and data center. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211696/linchpin-user-profiles?tab=overview&hosting=datacenter

Adding to @Brant Schroeder's suggestion for Linchpin here are the docs for Org Charts and Structural Charts.

Hello @Torben Lembke ,
thank you for your question.
If you are using Confluence Server or Data Center I would like to recommend our app User Profiles for Confluence. In our documentation you can get an idea how the Organization Chart looks like. For Confluence Cloud we are also planning to integrate this feature.
It is also possible to see the Org Charts in action in a live product demo of the app.
If you have further questions about our apps you can also contact our support directly.
Kind regards,
Franz
