Page export to Word doesn't work

Hi All,

I try to export a Confluence page to Word with the built-in Export to Word function. When I click the button I get a screen "The file cannot be found."

Have you got any idea what can it be?

Thanks,
Rumi

I'm going to guess that you're using IE, and this is running over https.

Hi Tim,

it's the contrary: we don't wanna download an attachment but export a page to Word.

Perhaps I misunderstand the situation. You click export to word. You get a dialog box to save, then you hit save and then you get an os level error about file not found?

When you export to word, you have to save the file (download the attachment), which is why I suggested the above article. Could you give more details about what is going on?

I have the same issue but it is intermittent. Some pages work and some don't. The issue occurs immediately after selecting Export to Word. I don't use IE, but the behavior exists in Firefox and Chrome. The attached image is from Firefox. Also, it's not a connection issue as the functionality works in other topics.
