Hi, any feed that is produced with the RSS feed builder within Confluence generates an invalid XML feed when testing via W3C's validator - https://validator.w3.org/feed/. As the outputted feed does not validate this prohibits using RSS feeds from Confluence to generate blog posts and newsletter campaigns via RSS on third-party services. I am currently using Confluence server 5.7.4, has this been rectified in a later release as I do not see an alternative plugin for Confluence that will solve this issue. I would like to use Confluence as the source of content for our organisations marketing via third-party services however this issue prohibits me from doing so.
OK, JIRA support opened a bug, please upvote if you have a spare minute.
Not sure I am supposed to do that here but I opened a ticket https://support.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/22/JSP-264653
