I was able to add the Advanced Roadmaps macro to my Confluence page and was able to import my roadmap URL but when I made changes to my Plan and save them the changes don't reflect in the macro on my Confluence page. I thoughts the saved changes would automatically update in Confluence where ever the link is embedded. Is this not the case or is this bug that needs to be fixed? Thanks!
Please see the advice I provided here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Updating-a-view-in-Advanced-Roadmaps-does-not-update-embedded/qaq-p/1951449
My recommendation is the same for your use case.
@Josh Costella Thanks so much for responding so quickly. Creating an additional Confluence view in my Roadmap will still not update in my Confluence page if changes were made to the view in Advanced Roadmaps. I liked to know if this is a Bug so I can let my team knows. Hopefully the Atlassian tech team is aware and its on their backlog to fix.

Each save of a view, even if you don't change the name of the view, creates a unique ID in terms of the Confluence embed link. I'm not sure if Atlassian considers this a bug or not. I've had the same experience.
That's why I suggested creating a Confluence specific view. It can be static-ish but ticket status and progress would still be updating. Ideally, it wouldn't be a view that would constantly need to be updated. It definitely is a pain to have to re-add the new link each time to the macro. Hopefully that functionality will change in the future.
