I like the look and filter ability of using the Advanced Table JQL in confluence to show Issues in Epics.
I want to show the Epic Name and be able to filter tickets by the Epic in the table result.
Right now I load both Epic Name which is blank and Epic Link which shows the Epic Jira-12345 number (instead of name).
Hi @Bea Tea
If you display issues under stories it's normal to have Epic Name empty, as this field is populated in Epic only.
But Epic Link should display the name of the epic linked to it and not the key.
You may encounter one of the 2 following known issue.

@Florian Bonniec Thank you!
Yes looks like the issues relate to the "Macros" "Advanced Table JQL".
Am I supposed to reopen the bug or create a new one? I don't know the versions of our systems. THe tickets have comments indicating they were fixed at some point?

Thanks @Florian Bonniec my version is 8.20! So the bug should have been fixed but it's not (showing epic link ID instead of epic name in results of the advanced jql)

Here is the step for you to configure that shows the Epic name when linked to other issues

Thanks @Pramodh M your link directs me to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-52532 which says it's fixed. Should I be adding a new ticket for COnfluence > Macros that are not showing the epic name properly?
