Hello community!
We saw strange behavior with our confluence server instance: when we export large page to pdf (standart confluence option) our CPU utilization increases to 99-100% peak. Small pages work fine.
Confluence 6.14.2 server edition. How can we improve situation with export to pdf for large pages? Maybe add the special java parameters?
It is known that exporting large pages to PDF can tax the server while the export is happening. That is one reason there is a specific space permission for this so that you can control who can and cannot do exports.
Hello Davin. Thank you for answer.
But if user has to export page what should he do? Should we add memory to instance? or another solutions?

Exporting one page should not be a huge deal ... unless the page is super complex. I think the biggest issues come when a user exports multiple pages ... or an entire space. This operations should be thought out and maybe done at a time that will not impact the business as much.
