Hi there
I have some problem to reorder pages.
I have 3 versions in my space. In hierarchy 3 pages of different versions are located in a "folder" with the same name. I can move this folder in tree of pages. In this case, the position of the pages will change in all versions. This reorder will be visible in hierarchy and in space. This means that I have the rights to move pages.
But I want to move the page only in 1 version. To do this, I move not the "folder", but only 1 page in the tree. But this reorder will be visible only in hierarchy. In space, the page will remain in its old place.
How can I move a page in only 1 version?
It looks like you're using my team's app Scroll Versions.
Unfortunately, changes in the page tree can't be versioned. So if you change the hierarchy in one version, it affects all versions.
I wish we had another option for you, but we're limited with what we can do.
I'm guessing, we use your Scroll Versions. But I don't know the details)
Thanks for your answer, but it’s bad news for me...

I am sorry, but I do not understand this.
Confluence does not have "folders", it simply has a page tree. "Versions" are not individual pages, they are a set of changes to a single page, and only the current page appears in the tree. And you cannot have pages with the same name in a space.
Could you re-explain your problem using Confluence terms? "Tree" is fine, but items within the tree are "pages", not "folders" or "versions".
Or maybe a screenshot that explains what you are describing as folders and versions?

For example, in tree I can move all versions "Мониторинг состояния компонентов системы" or only page ".Мониторинг состояния компонентов системы vManual_v.1.6.2".
When I move all versions "Мониторинг состояния компонентов системы" to another place in the tree, this reorder will be visible in hierarchy and in space.
But when I move only page ".Мониторинг состояния компонентов системы vManual_v.1.6.2", this reorder will be visible only in hierarchy. In space, the page will remain in its old place.
Sorry, I have screenshoot on Russian)

The screenshot was a great help, with the additional explanation, despite my failing in not being able to read Russian. Thank you! It is perfectly clear what you're trying to do and what is failing.
But I think the A\/ symbol at the end of two lines points to what @Matt Reiner _K15t_ said.

I understand. It's a pity that I can't resolve the problem.
Thank you

For our PKI design & documentation wiki space we are using the Scroll versions plugin for versioning & publishing certain design states.
Now we experience issues with managing the content in this space:
Could you please let me know the best management in this combination?

Prasad

Hi @Prasad Eda
I'm sorry to hear that you're running into challenges using Scroll Versions.
I know these are pretty general answers, so if they haven't helped, feel free to reach out directly with help@k15t.com so we can get to the bottom of this.
