Hi,
We are having problems to create new spaces in our Confluence. When I try creating a new space, nothing happens at the end of the wizard then when I try again, it says the "A space with this space key already exists." so it seems something has happened in the background.
Can you please help to fix this?
Thanks
Gabor
Work around below steps:
Spaces --> View All Spaces --> Select Category Trashed --> Find Deleted Space --> Click on Permanent Delete. Then only you will get new space with that Space Key

Hi Thomas, Hi Nic,
Thanks for helping. Looking into the Admin section/ Space permissions, I can see the space created. Actually multiple spaces, as I have tried several times using different space-keys.
However, regardless I had permissions to them, I could not see them. Now I have deleted all of them and recreated the one I intended to have the first time and now it looks OK.
Weird...
We have been running Confluence since ages and to be honest I haven't created a new space since really long time...but that would not explain this behavior.

It sounds like it is creating the new space, but not taking you to the right place afterwards. Can you check in the admin section that the new space is there?

Hi Gabor,
do you have Cloud? If so, are you able to open the space after the first creation?
(try https://<your-account>.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/<your-space-key>/pages)
