×Hi,
I saw some old post on this, but I wonder if there's still no way to adjust the date picker format.
It's really frustrating, we have user interfaces in English (US) and in Italian, and I need to keep it this way.
Regardless of these settings, I'd need to make dates (introduced with //...) to be shown (and exported, when exporting to pdf or word, or Excel) in a specific format.
Example
Here I really need to see 15/09/17, or 15/09/2017...
I can't have all users with the same language setting, and I need to set the date format I want, not only related to a fix language pack.
How can this be a so frustrating task, in 2021?
Am I missing something?
Ciao, Andrea
Ciao @ABoerio ,
unfortunately Date format is strickly depending from language. It is not expected that modifying the Confluence date format would change this.
There's an open suggestion for that https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-55188?error=login_required&error_description=Login+required&state=ee1d460f-5217-471e-8543-e65e04af3951
Hope this helps,
Fabio
Ciao @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ thanks for your answer. I'm finding this point hard to accept, and difficult to explain to my users. We need to be able to control the format of our dates, especially when printed/exported.
I might end up fixing language settings as same for all users, Italian or English-US (more likely this would be the chosen language) , but even in this case I'd like to define a fixed format as by company standard (eg. 15/09/2017), to be associated with that unique language, I cannot simply accept the format defined in Confluence for that language.
Ciao, Andrea
