I've just upgraded to latest confluence version (6.15.2) and do not want it to use crowd server (not running) any more. This instruction https://confluence.atlassian.com/crowd/integrating-crowd-with-atlassian-confluence-198573.html assume I have access to web interface to disable crowd, but I don't. I canot log in and canot reset password with error in log:
ERROR [http-nio-8090-exec-5] [crowd.manager.application.ApplicationServiceGeneric] authenticateUser Directory 'Crowd' is not functional during authentication of 'myusername'. Skipped.
How can I disable crowd integration with just access to shell (files) and DB?
Hey Eugene,
check out https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/disabling-a-directory-via-the-jira-database-338366836.html
its for JIRA, but should be the same (or at least very similar) for Confluence.
select * from cwd_directory;
find your crowd directory and set inactive to 1
CCM
Interesting I am on a server where Id of the internal directory is not 1.
Also setting active = 0
